A Spoonful of Sugar – Ukulele Duet

08 Feb

What better activity is there to do on a welcomed rainy day than pull out the ol’ uke and learn a new tune!?

I’ve created an arrangement of “A Spoonful of Sugar” from Mary Poppins for two ukes. Though it’s arranged and played on high g and low g tuned instruments, it can be easily adapted for two of the same. (did that make sense?)

Here is the TAB of containing both parts:

Spoonful of Sugar Uke duet

Once again, I have recordings of three different mixes of the arrangement:

1) ALL – Both instruments at equal volumes

2) Lead High G – Emphasis on the low G rhythm part

3) Emphasis on the high G lead part

All tracks have Bass and Drums to make it even more fun to play along with.

As always, let me know if you have any questions about it and I will be happy to address them.

And if you get frustrated, take a break and have a piece of chocolate. Remember: Just a little piece of chocolate helps the uke player calm down, the uke player calm down, the uke player calm down…

Have a great weekend!

This is in answer to the question: What do you get when you cross Don Ho and Dick Van Dyke
